This is a review for the Aveeno Nourish+Moisturize line.
I love trying new skincare and hair products so I regularly visit walmart.com to check out their free samples site. They normally have a lot of haircare, feminine care, and food product samples and if you refresh the site, new samples will pop up!
Aveeno products are gentle and good in general so I jumped at the chance to sample their new haircare line, ‘Nourish+’. The scent is soft, pleasant, and warm. The consistency of both the shampoo and conditioner is fairly runny, which I like. I feel that milky feeling shampoos and conditioners are much easier to run through the hair and as a result, I tend to use less product.
After one day of use, my hair was incredibly silky and soft. This never happens to me! I currently use the Nexxus Humectrus Ultimate Moisturizing line, and lately I’ve been noticing my hair has been getting dull with product buildup. I work in a lab setting so unfortunately I have to use a hairnet. My hair gets smushed and my bangs are always out of place once I finish my labwork. But after I used these products, my silky soft hair fell into place perfectly!
I got 2 shampoo bottles and 1 conditioner bottle in a pack at Costco for $13.99. If you don’t have a Costco membership, make sure to print out an Aveeno coupon on their website to use towards your haircare purchase!
The bottles are cylindrical and attractive, albeit a little small for the price. Another gripe: I place my shampoo and conditoner bottles on the floor of my shower (I don’t have a tub), and the flat tops of these bottles tend to pool water. When I try to dispense product, I get a big splash of water in my palms on top of it. It wouldn’t be so bad if this product had a thicker consistency. I just don’t want to waste product!
(Why not 5? Three things: product amount for the price, and bottle cap design)
