The seller’s realtor just got word from the bank that they want a whopping $70K over our asking price and they have declined our offer. (The bank wants it to be sold at $510K and the initial price was $430K. We offered $440K and the sellers accepted the next day.)
The house is now going back onto the market.
I’m a little sad but I’m relieved that I don’t have to keep waiting any longer to hear more news.
But… I am a little annoyed that I have an expensive 4-month apartment lease instead of a cheaper 1-year lease. Hindsight is 20-20.
This just wasn’t meant to be, so I’m looking forward to do more house hunting and research! And… I’m looking forward to a longer stay in my own little apartment… with no roommates. YES!!!
