A sizable haul on the cheap and outfit pairings

I did finally go shopping but thankfully I’ve been doing it on the cheap!

2b Bebe sweater dress – $2.50 at the 2b Bebe outlet

Orange-red leopard print flutter top – $5 from Charlotte Russe Outlet

Chiffon tube top with sequined scalloped trim – $5 at Charlotte Russe Outlet

Express watercolor top – $3.50 from Crossroads (bought with sellers credit)

Steve Madden Bevv suede black pumps – $35 from Loehmann’s

Leather tie belt – $3.45 at Hollister Outlet

Yellow tassel belt – $3.45 at Hollister Outlet

Gold and black necklace – $15 at Crossroads (bought with sellers credit)

Vintage gold chain necklace – $3 at Charity for Kids Thrift Shop

I’ve come up with a few outfit pairings with other items from my closet.

Each item in each outfit is under $35, with the exception of the Jessica Simpson nude bow heels purchased for $50.

I love the colors of this top.. at first I was on the fence because of the puffy sleeves but the fabric print won me over. Light, fresh and fun :)

Express top Size XS ($3.50)
Guess Shorts Size 24($14)
Jessica Simpson heels ($50) (blogged here)
Hollister belt ($3.45)

I tried to wear this boho top in a way that is more appropriate for going out at night. Loose and flowy on top, formfitting on the bottom. I tried to keep the boho feel with the gold Aztec-inspired necklace and my DIY sequin clutch as a wildcard pairing.

Chiffon sequin top ($5)
Forever 21 mini skirt ($5.50)
Steve Madden Bevv heels ($35)
Crossroads necklace ($15)
DIY Sequin sweater clutch

Okay it is FAR too hot to wear this outfit but I wanted to show you how this shape actually looks on the body. A size XS would have been a better choice, but there were none to be found!

2b Bebe dress ($2.50)
Forever 21 bandage skirt ($10)
Hollister belt ($3.45)
Forever 21 black jeweled cuff ($6)
Vince Camuto Booties ($15) (blogged here)

Something classy and vibrant with color blocking. If I wore heels regularly at work this is how I’d do it. The bright orange-red top and royal blue in the belt work surprisingly well together.

Charlotte Russe Leopard top ($5)
Theory navy blue city shorts ($24)
Thrifted vintage necklace ($3)
Charlotte Russe belt (3 belts for $5) (blogged here)

As always…style doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag.

Thanks for reading :)
